The City of Granger turns 100 years old in 2009, and will kick off the centennial year with a Historical Preservation Open House Tuesday, Jan. 20, at 100 Sunnyside Avenue in Granger.

The opening ceremony will begin at 6 p.m. with a welcome and introductions. The public is invited to attend and refreshments will be served. The event is scheduled to conclude at 8 p.m.
