I have fond memories of spending weekends on my grand-father's farm out on Evan's Road where my dad's family grew up. My grandfather had forty acres where he raised a delicious variety of apples and milked cows. Little did I know I would again return to the valley.

This is amazing! It is great to see these individuals reaping the rewards of their hard work and effort. It is equally as amazing to see the inmates opening up and responding to the truth that is being taught in the bible studies.

This is wonderful news! God does indeed provide a way for people's lives to change, not just in thought or habit, but in essence with a clean slate. I personally know of someone who used to 'drink his paycheck' and was without control over this problem. When he received the new birth experience detailed in the book of Acts in the Bible, he literally never took another drink or craved alcohol...that was 28 years ago. Others quit a 3 pack of cigarettes a day smoking habit upon their new birth experience. Still others were delivered from the craving for drugs, and some healed from terminal diseases when filled with God's Spirit and baptized in Jesus' name as the article noted. The list of awesome life changes are a true and available promise from God when we take Him at His word.
The good news is that NO ONE IS TOO FAR GONE IN THEIR DESTRUCTIVE HABITS AND LIFESTYLES TO RECEIVE GOD'S WONDERFUL SPIRIT. Congratulations on your new beginning, and God be with you!! |
