Principal Finalists for Wapatos Pace Alternative School

The public is invited to meet and question four finalists for the new principal at Wapato’s PACE Alternative High School at 310 S. Wasco tonight, May 7.

Mark Westerfield, the alternative program coordinator at White River, Wash., will be available at 6 p.m.

Jeffrey Blain, the online education coordinator for the Selah School District, will be available at 6:30 p.m.

Karen Harrington, assistant principal at Wapato High School, will be available at 7 p.m.

Giovanna San Martin, a former assistant principal at an alternative school with the Seattle School District will be available at 7:30 p.m.

Current PACE Principal Cathy Hammerberg is retiring in June, after two years as principal and 29 years with the Wapato School District.
