A 49-year-old Granger woman was shot to death Feb. 14, by her boyfriend in an apparent homicide-suicide, according to a police report.
The report said witnesses told police Eliva Antunez Roman, 49, was shot once by Salvador Ramirez, 64, at about 12:20 a.m. in the Circle Inn Tavern in Granger. Ramirez then left the tavern.
He lived about two blocks from the tavern, and when Yakima County Sheriff deputies went to his residence, they found him dead of what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
The report said Roman and Ramirez had been together earlier at the tavern, and Ramirez had apparently left and returned with a handgun.
It is not known what led to the shooting, the report said.
