TOPPENISH - Rail maintenance on the railroad spur from South Track Road to the old U & I sugar factory site ill cause a road closure March 28 – 30.
South Track Road will be closed between Goldendale Avenue and Buena Way and traffic will be detoured, according to Lance Hoyt, public works director.
Intermodal Construction will reconstruct the railroad crossing on South Track Road March 28 and 29, and the crossing will be repaved March 30. 
The three-day project will have a traffic detour rerouting traffic to Goldendale Avenue, Hoyt said.
