ZILLAH — Spring has flung, and the valley’s pre-cursor to barrel tasting weekend is slated for Saturday in Zillah.
The fun begins at noon, with the Classic Car and Bike Show, held on Main Street downtown.
Registration begins at 9 a.m., and is $10 per vehicle, which includes a goody bag and free entry in the poker walk. There will also be raffle drawings during the event.
Entries will be signed up in 16 different classes of cars, trucks, and motorcycles, and awards will be given for Best Paint, Best Interior, Best Bike, Best of Show, and People’s Choice.
At 6:30 p.m. the Zillah Warehouse Furniture Store will be the scene of great wine and great food with 15 local wineries in attendance.
Food will include barbecued oysters, prime rib rolls, shrimp cocktails and much more.
Entertainment will be provided by the Dueling Pianos from CHOPSTIX, performing throughout the event.
Attendees are encouraged to buy tickets early, since the event has sold out the past two years.
Tickets will be limited to 500 people, and are $35 each.
Pre-barrel tasting wine tasting will also be available at the wineries in the Rattlesnake Hills Wine Trail.
