GOLDENDALE 16-16, GRANGER 2-7: At Granger, Sydney Bloom pitched a one-hitter in the first game and had two hits in the second as the Timberwolves concluded their regular season with a sweep to earn the West Division’s No. 4 seed into next week’s district tournament.

NACHES VALLEY 9, ZILLAH 8:At Naches, Kelsey Shafer’s one-out squeeze bunt in the bottom of the seventh scored pinch-runner Haley Stottlemyre for the winning run to earn the Rangers the division title.
The completion of the suspended game finished off NV’s sweep of Zillah as the two teams ended up 8-2 in league. The Rangers (11-7) will play a non-league doubleheader at home today against Royal before entering district next week with the West’s top seed.
Sydney Charlet was 3-for-4 with a double and RBI for NV. Alexa Kruger was 4-for-4 for Zillah.
