PROSSER  — Victor Corona fired in two goals in a six-minute span in the second half to spark Prosser’s boys soccer team to a 2-0 victory over Toppenish in the CWAC district championship on Saturday.
Corona, a junior, broke the scoreless tie in the 54th minute and added his second goal in the 60th minute.
Toppenish (10-9) hosted a first-round state match on Tuesday against Medical Lake (11-8), the Great Northern runner-up.
First half: No scoring.
