The SCAC State Tournament proved to be tough competition this past weekend, however both Cody and Troy Dunbar said they feel great about how they played. 
Single A competition on the state level is especially tough because of all the private schools that compete in the  division, but both Cody and Troy played great and can hold their heads high, Coach Dunbar said.
Freshman Troy went in hoping to win a few games, and ended up winning a match and barely losing in a tie breaker in his last match. 
When asked about the tournament Troy said, “It was an awesome experience and I can’t wait to go back next year.”
Senior Cody knew his state experience was going to be tough because of a shoulder injury he received before Sub Districts, but went into the competition determined to give it all he had. 
He finished in the quarter finals the same as last year. 
When asked about this weekends tournament Cody said, “Sometimes life throws you a disappointment like an injury, but I gave it everything I had and feel great about what I was able to accomplish.  Sometimes the victory isn’t the medal but what you have learned from the experience.”
