Compared to last Thursday at same market, not enough feeder cattle this week for accurate trends. Trade active with good demand. Slaughter cows 4.00-5.00 lower due to the large number of dairy buyout cows being offered. Slaughter bulls steady. Trade slow with light to moderate demand. Slaughter cows made up 59 percent of the offering; Slaughter bulls 10 percent, 5 percent replacement cows, and feeders 26 percent of the supply. The feeder supply included 43 percent steers and 57 percent heifers. Near 63 percent of the run weighed over
600 lbs.
Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1-2 500-600 lbs 109.00-115.00, 115.50 Value Added; 600-700 lbs 103.00, 108.00 Value Added; 700-800 lbs 92.00-95.50. Small and Medium 1-2 500-600 lbs 110.00; 600-700 lbs 95.00 Value Added.
