Toppenish Police are looking for suspects involved in a drive-by shooting early Friday, Oct. 2.
According to Sergeant Jake Church of the Toppenish Police department, officers responded to a drive by shooting in the 200 block of West Fifth Avenue at 12:39 a.m. Witnesses at the scene told officers suspects in a light colored four-door car fired several shots from the vehicle into the victim’s car and also well as at a second victim who was riding by on a bicycle. The victim’s car was struck three times. The person on the bike was uninjured. Police are calling the case a gang related incident.
Church said anyone with information on the shooting is asked to contact the Toppenish Police Department at (509) 865-4355.
