Toppenish police are investigation a robbery at a restaurant in downtown Toppenish on Jan. 4.
According to Toppenish Police Sergeant Jake Church, officers responded to a reported robbery at the restaurant in the 100 block of East Toppenish Avenue at 9:50 p.m.
A restaurant employee told police two Hispanic males entered the restaurant, displayed a gun and demanded money. After they obtained an undisclosed amount of cash, the two teenagers left the business and fled on foot.
Both suspects were wearing jeans, dark clothing, dark beanie hats and handkerchiefs over their faces. No one was injured during the robbery.
Toppenish police are continuing to investigate the incident. Church said anyone with information on the robbery is asked to contact the Toppenish Police Department at (509) 865-4355.
