Emerald Care in Wapato crowned its King and Queen of Hearts during the annual Valentine’s Day celebration on Friday. Feb. 12. According to Emerald Care officials, after two weeks of balloting by residents, visitors and staff, Michael Lunsford was crowned King and Amy Orona was named Queen of this year’s celebration. This year’s balloting was a very close race. The Royal Court included George and Annie, Joe and Nancy, Alvina and Rogelio, Scott and Sally and Lester and Barbara.
