Ida (Janet Mayer, right) and fellow mother duck Kaydee Heddle discuss hatching techniques during rehearsal for the Toppenish Creek Player’s upcoming production, “Honk”, The play is the Broadway musical adaptation of the children’s book, “The Ugly Duckling”, Ginny Wells is directing the local play which features 15 cast members, including four children. The local theatre troupe will present six performances – March 29, 30 and 31 and April 5, 6, and 7 at the Yakama Cultural Center’s auditorium. Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for seniors age 60 and over and students age 18 and younger. Tickets are available at Wells Accounting or from cast members.
