Angie Zuniga and Sabrina Galaviz were the lone first place winners at the 23rd annual Eisenhower Jamboree track meet on Saturday, March 13 at Yakim’a Zaepfel Stadium.
Zuniga took first in the 100 with a 12:83 time, while Galaviz topped the eight-foot mark in the pole vault for the win. In additional to Toppenish, teams participate at the first meet of the season were East Valley, Ellensburg, Eisenhower, Eastmont and Klicktat.
Grandview Jambouree
Zillah’s boys track teammates Logan Olney and Johnny Barnes each colleted two wins during the team’s opening track and field competition on Saturday in Grandview.
Emma Tuning also had first place finishes in the 1600 and 3200 for the Lady Leopards.
Teams competing with Zillah at the Jamboree including host team Grandview along with Naches Valley and Othello.
