I have fond memories of spending weekends on my grand-father's farm out on Evan's Road where my dad's family grew up. My grandfather had forty acres where he raised a delicious variety of apples and milked cows. Little did I know I would again return to the valley.

The Lighthouse Church of Wapato is hosting an event called "Manna-Fest". This is an invitational meeting about ministry and will have guests flying in from around the country. Joel Hart (former pastor of Lighthouse) arrived last night at SeaTac and will be one of the scheduled speakers. He brought a guest along from Bryant, Arkansas to participate as well.
Bishop Chester Wright of Annapolis Maryland arrives today and will be our featured speaker along with his wife Alice Wright. Both are ordained ministers and pastor the Antioch Church of Arnold, Maryland. www.theantioch.com
Other ministers are traveling from Post Falls, ID, Salem, Oregon as well as the Seattle area. They are meeting for prayer, fasting and extensive Bible teaching and ministry.
Meeting starts tonight (May 22nd) and will go through tomorrow and end Saturday at noon. Location is 105 E. 4th Street, WApato.
