"Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed?"  Acts 19:2

This was the question the apostle Paul asked to a group of believers whom he came across in the countryside.  This was a very valid question.  Some believers have thought they automatically receive the Holy Spirit baptism upon the confession of their faith in Christ.  They have become faithful followers of Christ with prayer and study of God's word with a genuine desire for the things of God.

In scripture there was an outward sign when believers recieved the Holy Ghost.  They spoke in other tongues!

"And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance."  Acts 2:4

Throughout the New Testament scripture we read about people speaking in other tongues when they receive the Holy Spirit baptism.  This is often referred to as, "Receiving the Holy Ghost".

Jesus told His followers to go to Jerusalem and wait for the baptism.  He also told them they would receive power and become witnesses of him once they received the spirit.

Acts 1:8
8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

This unique video was captured on the lawn of The Lighthouse Church on Saturday night while baptizing a few believers.  A woman named Brenda was being baptized when she began speaking in other tongues as soon as she came up from the water.
