TOPPENISH —In addition to sponsoring the largest free outdoor music festival of the summer in Toppenish, EMBARQ Communications will also collect clothing during the event for the Lower Valley Crisis Center. 

The Whistlestop Music Festival attendees are asked to bring clean and good condition women’s, children’s and baby clothing to the EMBARQ booth on Saturday August 23, at Railroad Park in Toppenish. The festival starts at noon and ends at 11 p.m.  All clothing donations collected will be donated to the Lower Valley Crisis Center.

“EMBARQ is proud to be part of the Toppenish community and support great events like the Whistlestop Music Festival,” said Jeffrey Dennison, public affairs manager for EMBARQ in the Yakima Valley. “Not only do we look forward to participating in this great event, we also look forward to working with attendees to help those in need.”
